Today we had the privilege of being a part of an incredible water safety program for our families, and what an amazing morning it was!

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the cold Melbourne weather to attend. Your commitment to learning these important life skills for yourselves and your children is something to be proud of.

Our families learned valuable water safety and lifesaving skills that could one day make all the difference. A very special mention to our brave mums who stepped outside their comfort zones and got into the water. Your willingness to learn and build your confidence is an amazing example for your children and shows just how much you care about keeping your families safe.

A heartfelt thank you to Life Saving Victoria for your passion, knowledge and dedication to educating our community. We are so grateful for everything you do to help keep our families safe in and around the water.

✨FREE "Be Work Ready" Course–Enrol Now✨

We're excited to partner with Wyndham Community & Education Centre to offer a FREE 10-week "Be Work Ready" course at Point Cook College Community Hub!

Whether you're entering the workforce for the first time, returning after a break, or looking for a new career opportunity, this course will help you build the skills and confidence to take the next step.

During the course you'll learn how to:
✅ Identify your strengths, transferable skills and career goals
✅ Create professional resumes tailored to different jobs
✅ Write effective cover letters that stand out
✅ Understand job advertisements and key selection criteria
✅ Build confidence and prepare for interviews
✅ Develop practical employment skills
✅ Use online tools to search for jobs and prepare employment documents

📅 Starts: Monday 13 July – 14 September
🕐 Time: Mondays, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm (10 weeks)
📍Location: Point Cook P-9 College Community Hub, Gate 10 Ponsford Drive.

Who can join?
This course is FREE for Australian and New Zealand citizens, Permanent Residents, and some Temporary Visa holders.

Want to learn how to save a life? 🫀 St John Ambulance is hosting a FREE, fully accredited CPR course right here in Point Cook for parents and the community!

Successful participants will walk away with an official Statement of Attainment. 🎓

🔹 The DRSABCD action plan & emergency response
🔹 Managing unconscious casualties

Active Kinders Day is back these school holidays at Eagle Stadium on Thursday 2 July, 10am to 12pm, with a fun morning of sport, movement and play for children aged 3 to 5 years.

Kids can try a range of short, fun activities, build confidence, meet new friends and enjoy being active in a welcoming environment.
