Maverick has just won 574 dog treats!

His clever Mum Jess entered the competition at my Dogs on the Green stall to guess the number of treats in a jar (designed by my daughter - thanks Grace!)

Jess guessed 561 which is outstandingly close! Well done Jess!

Just don’t eat them all at once Maverick ☺️💙

It’s nice to bring fun through Vet To Me

This is Sebastian, owned by my kind friend Clinton, who recently took some photos for my website.
Sebastian is also a lovely, smoochy boy who has some stress in his life from neighbouring cats. But he has a loving family, who do their very best to minimise that.
He's also a handsome, photogenic boy who kindly relaxed on my lap for this photo! 💙

Lucy visited me at my stand yesterday at Dogs on the Green. She belongs to a fellow school Mum who has become a good friend 💕 Lucy is an absolute delight and has bought her family so much joy. Her name means ‘bringer of light’ which is perfect for her. I did her spey surgery, which was an honour.

Thank you to my other clients that visited me at my stand and it was so nice to meet new pups and their parents.

The event was a great success!

Charli was adopted from a breeder, who wanted to rehome her aged 4.5yrs as she’d had 4 litters.

Her owners wanted my opinion on her health before deciding whether to keep her, or find her another forever home.

Having pet-sat my fellow Cavalier King Charles, Ruby, they knew me, knew that I knew this breed well, and liked that I was housecall as Charli was very nervous of the world, having never really left her pen 🥹

On examination, Charli was overweight and had a few spots of joint pain (probably from her extra weight, limited exercise and carrying 4 litters) but was otherwise in good health. This included her teeth, and (thankfully) her heart ❤️ - since this breed are predisposed to heart murmurs.

She is very nervous and her owners are carefully gaining her trust. She hasn’t yet felt confident enough to leave her bed, aside from toilet trips outside.

After careful consideration, and chatting with me about her health and outlook they have decided to keep her! But may change her name… (I’ll keep you posted on that!)

It feels an honour that owners like these one would trust me with helping them make these big decisions based on my findings and thoughts. I guess 20 years of experience and many grey hairs does mean something! It’s important to carefully consider before taking on a pet and it’s lovely for me to be able to help you with that.

Kindness of people like Clinton really warms my heart 💗 Kindness has this amazing way of warming a heart and spreading from its source. I really appreciate you Clinton. Thank you also to the friends that leant me their pets 💕🙏
