Ever since I was a kid I’d be helping dad or pop in their workshops, tinkering, more often than not probably in their way. But seeing them both build things with quite literally their bare hands never really resonated with me until adulthood.
We have a tool to make almost anything easier for us or better yet, automated.
These are all amazing things to see particularly how the industry hasn’t completely faded out yet.
But, for me and probably many other makers out there, there truly is something humbling about using traditional methods or tools to craft something from nothing (says me while I’m using every DEWALT battery operated tool I own).
