Dear Chemical Engineers 👩‍🔬 👨‍🔬

In our engaging session on "Onshore Oil and Gas Processing," participants delved into the fundamentals of the oil and gas industry and its everyday impact. 🌍 The session provided an introductory overview of key topics such as the importance of cleaning oil pipes, the basics of heat exchangers, the principles behind the separation process, and essential sand jetting techniques. 🛢

With Nigar Naghiyeva's guidance, attendees gained a foundational understanding of these concepts. To support their learning, an enjoyable quiz with Kahoot quiz was held, allowing everyone to engage and strengthen their understanding in a fun and interactive way. ✅

On May 25th, Gunduz Mahmudov guided us through the captivating topic of "Casing and Casing Design"💡

During the session, Gunduz Mahmudov emphasized the crucial role of casing in well construction and explored the various types of casings, including conductor, surface, intermediate, production, and liner. The discussion delved into the purposes, characteristics, and specifications of each casing type, providing us with a comprehensive understanding.
We also learned the determination of casing setting depths, casing design considerations, and the data required for casing design under different load cases. The session covered important aspects such as casing running procedures and cementing operations, ensuring a well-rounded understanding of the topic📚
