🏭 Job Title: Engineer – Glass Manufacturing (Production, Maintenance, QA)
📍 Location: Butterfly Group -Glass Project (Bhaluka, Mymensingh)

🎯 Overall Purpose of the Role:
To ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing operations in the glass production facility. The engineer will be responsible for overseeing production processes, maintaining equipment, and ensuring product quality standards are met.

🔧 1. Production Engineer Responsibilities:
‣Plan, monitor, and optimize daily production activities.
‣Ensure adherence to production schedules and targets.
‣Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
‣Collaborate with design and R&D teams for process improvements.
‣Maintain documentation for production processes and performance metrics.

✅ Qualifications:
‣B.Sc. in Mechanical / Industrial / Glass Technology / Materials Engineering.
‣2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing setup (preferably glass or ceramics).
‣Knowledge of PLC systems, automation, and production planning tools.

🛠️ 2. Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
‣Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and utilities.
‣Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues.
‣Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance logs.
‣Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
‣Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.

✅ Qualifications:
‣B.Sc. in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering.
‣3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance.
‣Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

🧪 3. Quality Assurance Engineer Responsibilities:
‣Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards.
‣Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of raw materials and finished products.
‣Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
‣Coordinate with production to resolve quality issues.
‣Ensure compliance with ISO and other relevant standards.

✅ Qualifications:
‣B.Sc. in Materials / Chemical / Industrial Engineering.
‣2–4 years of experience in QA/QC in manufacturing.
‣Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), ISO 9001, and glass testing methods.

A reputed MNC is looking for an Asst. Manager/ Manager – Production Department for an immediate appointment.

Job Description:
# Handling all types of production issues, section by section coordination, and especially focusing on the sewing, Technical & cutting section.
# Work closely with the production team from the development stage in order to foresee production bottlenecks and quality problems. And troubleshoot them.
# Production planning for the lines (manpower, machine and styles).
# Line performance analysis (efficiency, man to machine ratio, cost/pieces) and plan for continuous improvement.
# Discussion with other team members (like merchants, fabric manager, cutting team, planning, IE team).
# Effective follow-up on materials inventory, production process, quality standards & team performance & Finlay making sure that product and procedures are on time and of good quality.
# To lead the whole production and manufacturing process.
# Day-to-day production plan to meet customer delivery date, implement and focus on customer requirements.
# Estimating costs and setting the quality standards, achieve maximum production by lowest cost.
# Support the production manager in implementing ME Key initiatives and quality tools in daily production operations.
# Make day to day decisions within defined scope with limited support on resolution of complex production issues.
