The Roads and Highways Department Head Office is one of the alluring projects in which DDC took part.

Our esteemed Deputy Managing Directors, Jehra Zerin and AKM Nafisuddin, along with the Director of Enterprise Project Management Office, went to see the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Expansion Project. Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport is a vital gateway for Bangladesh, and this expansion project marks an important step toward increasing its capacity and services. As committed consultants, we were excited to follow the progress of this challenging project and contribute significant insights to its successful completion. Our visit gave us the opportunity to examine the project's progress, interact with the project team, and obtain a thorough understanding of the design, construction, and future plans. We want to make sure that the airport expansion project not only satisfies its immediate demands, but also prepares it for the future.

Chattogram, in the eastern subcontinent, is a bustling commercial hub fueled by trade, commerce, industry, ports, tourism, and an international airport. In order to relieve traffic congestion, the Muradpur flyover was built with increased capacity, safety, and a lower transportation cost. This significant project was surveyed, designed, and supervised by DDC.

400 kV transmission line connecting Patuakhali (Payra) and Gopalganj (Muksudpur). This power line has a large capacity and will be capable of delivering more electricity in the region. DDC is involved in the design, supervision, evaluation, and implementation of this critical project.

The memoir "Ontohin Pran" was a tribute to the legacy of AKM Rafiquddin Sir, the founding father of Development Design Consultants Ltd. The book was published on March 5, 2023, a year after his passing. The event was inaugurated by Sir Abdullah Abu Sayeed, an eminent educationist and cultural activist, and his long-time friend.

The memoir was a collection of essays, articles, and personal recollections from people who knew and worked with AKM Rafiquddin Sir. It traced his journey from his early days as a student to his illustrious career as an engineer and planner. The book celebrated his contributions to the fields of engineering and architecture and his vision for a sustainable, liveable, and inclusive city.

At the launch event, speakers paid tribute to the memory of AKM Rafiquddin Sir and highlighted his impact on the profession of engineering in Bangladesh. They spoke of his passion for innovation and his commitment to pushing the boundaries of design. They also remembered his leadership style, which was characterized by his humility, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his work.

The event was attended by members of the DDC family, including current and former employees, clients, and well-wishers. It was a poignant moment of reflection and remembrance, but it was also a celebration of the life and legacy of a remarkable individual who left an indelible mark on the world of engineering.
