Today, all major forklift manufacturers are offering telematics systems to get data from their forklifts. These are all nice, but are they telling you anything useful about what's actually happening on your floor?

What you get are metrics like speed, number of (possible) impacts, engine hours, and more. What you don't get is context:
- where did speeding or a crash happen?
- were there other forklifts or operators involved?
- what led up to an event?
- where are my forklift idling?

Imagine cutting your RTLS infrastructure costs without sacrificing accuracy where it matters.

One of the most common questions we get is whether the accuracy of the Pozyx UWB positioning system depends on anchor density. Can you reduce the number of anchors in some areas and accept lower accuracy there, while still achieving very high accuracy where it matters most?

Until recently, the answer was no. Traditional UWB positioning works brilliantly within the required geometry, but once the setup falls below a certain threshold, accuracy collapses. This was also true for Pozyx.

With our upcoming RTLS release, this changes.

We now support a dynamic accuracy model that adapts to the deployed infrastructure. When anchors are placed at standard density, you get the familiar 10 to 30 cm precision. When spacing them further apart, the system shifts to approximate positioning at around 5 meters. And when only a single anchor is available, the tracker still provides reliable presence detection.

This capability allows you to deploy trackers across an entire site, indoors and outdoors, while tuning anchor density to match the required accuracy in each zone. You get full visibility where you need it, use fewer anchors where precision is less critical, and scale your RTLS deployment with far greater efficiency.
