HAPPY WORLD FROG DAY! 🌺🐸🌺
Where, rather than producing questionable AI art and recording music live whilst hurling slurs at LGBTQIA+ people, I, Morg Fraugster esq. am instead advocating for my own kind, and the lives and livelihoods of amphibians everywhere. 🍃 And I do this via music ~ an hour of grimy, sludgey post-comfy synth which is drenched in dirt and infected with pollution 🤮

Released for World Frog Day 2026, and made to highlight the ceaceless destruction of habitats everywhere, 'Drowning In Detritus' is a statement of intent and a grubby, slime-covered web-print in the sand. No longer are the amphibians happy. After the wonderful meet-cute with Refusa: Goddess Of Trash, Toby and his brethren unfortunately found themselves foul of quite the unexpected threat. Refusa's arch enemy, Garbo Grody The Grand, has enacted a neferious scheme among the inhabitants of all of Dewdom - Including Toby The Toad's home, The Duck Pond... Tadpole Town, Toad Town and more. 🏠🏡

The problem? - Industrial waste. RUNOFF. And the oddly comforting green hue of a certain metal barrel or two even suggests nuclear contamination too! In other words - nowhere is safe anymore... And all the amphibians, toads, The Church Of Tad and EVEN the Tadpole Society itself is under threat. They are... Drowning In Detritus. 🧪⚗️

Can the community settle their differences, put down their debates, and work together under one roof to sort this out once and for all? Will they reclaim their home, or shall it be turned to deathly swamp forever more? We shall see... ❤️

Coming off the back of a very spectacular, thoughtful, innovative split with none other than post-food-synth pioneers Refusa: Goddess Of Trash, Amphibian Performance is here to save the day and continue the narrative established on January's 'Bog Water' 💦
