Beyond the Music: Meet "Edgy"
As we gear up for a massive 2026, Creatvty Art is evolving. While our roots are in the Bahamian creative landscape, we know that staying "growth-ready" requires more than just a great sound—it requires a sharp digital presence. We are thrilled to introduce Edgy, our new non-music service branch. Edgy is designed to give indie artists and creative entrepreneurs the high-level Social Media Management they need to flip the switch from local favorites to global brands.
What Edgy Offers:
Strategic Social Storytelling: Aligning your digital voice with your long-term roadmap.
Engagement Growth: Building real relationships with your audience, not just chasing likes.
Indie Label Soft Launch: Edgy serves as our intro product, setting the digital foundation for our upcoming indie label services.

Big news! I’m thrilled to share that Music Beta Conference is now listed on Keychange’s Music Organisations directory! (Keychange)
Being part of this globally respected network means Music Beta stands in solidarity with the movement for diversity, equity, and inclusivity in the music industry. Keychange has over 700 signatories worldwide — festivals, conferences, labels, agencies, and more — committed to forging a more representative music world. (Keychange)
Here’s what that means for us:
We’re now officially part of a global community championing equal opportunity and representation across gender and underrepresented groups.
It signals that Music Beta is aligned with progressive values — supporting diversity in artist lineups, leadership, and collaboration.
It raises our profile internationally, opening doors for more global connections, collaborations, and visibility for Bahamian & Caribbean talent.
So if you believe in music that celebrates diversity, empowers underrepresented voices, and builds bridges across the world — now’s the time to get involved. Stay tuned for updates on speakers, panels, and how you can join the movement.

Honoring a Bahamian Legend: Sir Sidney Poitier 🇧🇸
Sir Sidney Poitier, born in Miami and raised on Cat Island, forever changed the landscape of global cinema. As the first Black man to win an Academy Award for Best Actor, he shattered barriers with grace, dignity, and conviction—opening doors for generations of artists worldwide.
Beyond acting, Poitier was a powerful voice for equality and creative excellence. His roles in classics like Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner and Lilies of the Field brought humanity and depth to the Black experience on screen. His influence reached far beyond film—shaping culture, inspiring Caribbean creatives, and reminding the world that greatness can emerge from even the smallest islands.
Today, I discovered a hidden gem in The Bahamas—the shop of his niece, a reflection of that same Bahamian spirit of artistry, resilience, and quiet brilliance. As she carries the story and love for her uncle, I share with her the moments that Bahamians and colored people worldwide share!
To Sir With Love: Mrs. Poitier
