Druk Wangdi Tse Lhakhang is a sacred hilltop temple above Thimphu, reached by a peaceful 40-minute hike from Sangaygang through pine forests with beautiful valley views. Built in 1715 as the seat of the 8th Druk Desi, Druk Rabgye, it remains a spiritual and historic site where visitors hike, pray, meditate, and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
