We are privileged to host Kevin and his family from the United States, who are currently in Bhutan on a two-weeks journey exploring the country’s rich spirituality and pristine natural beauty.
Today marked a special beginning to their adventure as we embarked on our first hike together from Tashigang Gonpa to Lungchutse Trail. We look forward to many more memorable moments together in the days ahead. 🌿🙏

It was a true honour for us to host senior ornithologists John, Thomas, Ken, and key bird sound expert Jay from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology on a two-week birding expedition in the Kingdom of Bhutan.
During their remarkable journey, the team recorded an impressive total of around 320 bird species +. We are delighted to share a selection of stunning photographs captured by Ken Rosenberg during their visit in April last year.
On a personal note, we feel deeply inspired to collaborate with John Sterling who organizes birding expeditions across the globe through his California-based office sterlingbirds.com His passion and dedication to birding truly resonate with us. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you again in the near future John la
Jaden from Cornell University, United States is currently on an unforgettable birding adventure, guided by expert birding spotter Tshering. Today brought an absolute highlight, an extraordinary sighting of the magnificent Satyr Tragopan!
A true jewel of the Himalayas, this elusive and vibrant pheasant made for a thrilling and rewarding moment in the forest. Encounters like this are what make birding in Bhutan so magical!
And for a moment, between earth and sky, she becomes part of the landscape, a quiet soul
listening to the world breathe.
