Today marks the successful completion of the final day of training conducted by BTI under the Digital Democracy Initiative (DDI) Project.

The training began with foundational sessions on anti-corruption awareness, strengthening participants’ understanding of transparency, integrity, and social accountability within their communities. This was followed by three intensive days of practical learning on digital platforms and their role in preventing corruption, enhancing grievance reporting mechanisms, and promoting inclusive civic participation.

Participants were actively engaged throughout the program, taking part in interactive group discussions, corruption risk assessments, and hands-on training on safe and effective use of digital reporting tools. The formation of Community Groups further strengthened local ownership, leadership, and collective responsibility in advancing accountability at the grassroots level.

The training received strong appreciation from the trainees, who expressed increased confidence in identifying corruption risks, using digital tools responsibly, and participating more actively in democratic processes. The practical approach and participatory methodology contributed to a highly productive and impactful learning environment.

Overall, the program has proven to be both effective and forward-looking. Participants leave the training equipped with enhanced knowledge, practical skills, and a renewed commitment to fostering transparency and integrity within their communities. The outcomes reflect a significant step forward in strengthening digital civic engagement and promoting accountable governance under the DDI project.
