A leap of faith💯💯💯💯 After engaging with Banele Rewo' s content for a while I took on a challenge that would otherwise look simple but oh noo😂 little did I realize.

✅Start a business with P0.00 capital and scale it P100 000.00 turnover.

18 January 2025 UPDATE

We choose to go into Manufacturing under the FURNITURE PRODUCTION Sector.

After putting in the work for a while from March 2023 to January 2024, much of the time shadowing , we officially started and made our first product for sale on February 2024🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 All this lead to the birth of an Enterprise KEMA Interiors ✅✅✅✅Since then we have been operating and will be doing 1 year in operation, grown from 1 person run to a team of 3✅✅✅

Key thing, while we have not hit the P100 000.00 turnover we sure have something to celebrate, that we building a system and growing a business, serving the community and definitely looking to create more employment opportunities. ✅✅✅

Thanks Rewo for inspiration....We have met many challenging situations along the way that come with setting a start-up, been discouraged at some point, thought of closing and shutting down but somehow the WHY has always surfaced✅✅✅✅ Thank you to our clients who keep on being pivotal and supporting us.

Doubting

So sad how many people don't believe in themselves, remember when you were a child and believed you could do and become anything? Yes that part 😁 You need somehow to close fit your exposure to Soo much information and experiences that have planted seeds of doubt with that child like faith. You see there are things that you will never learn and experience until you go out do that one thing you desire, kick doubt out of your life. 🥰

Stop doubting yourself and giving the excuse of "What will people think if I". So what? Get on and start that business, embark on that program, execute the project. ☺️☺️☺️☺️Write that book, record that song, launch that website and go for it. Incase you doubting remember I believe you, and so are many others who have not said it.

No more doubting 🥳🥳🥳

As a student of business - for what is now well over a decade, I have learned this truism:

1. It all sounds good and makes sense - in theory.

But reality is much harder, much doggier and much more ruthless than the textbooks and academic case studies.

2. If you can’t make tough unpopular decisions, you will definitely fail.

Being a business owner, founder, entrepreneur or executives is mostly about having a steely gut in the face of tough times.

3. Profit first: the relentless pursuit of “sales and growth at all costs” will most likely result in failure at high velocity.

So manage your burn rate & make sure you’re actually booking profit. Not just paper profits but real profits.

4. Separate your bank accounts: this a smart tactical tool. I wish somebody had taught me this earlier. When the funds flow into the main account, distribute them into your tax, payroll, opex and free cash flow accounts immediately.

5. Be disciplined: don’t act on what resources or funds you have available. Act on what plan you have in place.

Discipline is your best friend.
