GABORONE CITY COUNCIL; A motion by Phakalane councillor 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐊𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐣𝐨𝐞 concerning the taxation of health services has been approved by the Gaborone City Council after being debated during a full council meeting this morning.

The motion on the taxation of health services was debated and passed by the council. The passage of the motion does not automatically make it law. Depending on the legal framework governing local authorities in Botswana, implementation may still require further administrative or government processes.

The Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) announces with profound sadness the passing of three of its esteemed elders namely; 𝐌𝐦𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐨 𝐌𝐨𝐤𝐨𝐩𝐢 (𝟖𝟒), 𝐌𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐧𝐮 𝐌𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐠 (𝟖𝟕) and 𝐑𝐫𝐞 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐊𝐨𝐲𝐨𝐤𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐚 (𝟗𝟎).
