The lodge maintains organic gardens throughout its 103-acre jungle property.

We grow basil, mango, papaya, pineapple, akee, lime, lemon, orange, grapefruit, ginger, soup sop, star fruit, lettuce, beans, tomato, habanero peppers, cashews, coconut, plantain, banana, and Barbados cherries just to name a few!

All meals include the freshest locally, and if possible organically, grown fruits and vegetables — all lovingly prepared.

Our home-grown fruits and vegetables allow us to accommodate vegetarians and other individuals with dietary restrictions.

One scoop of Orchids, please

Did you know that vanilla, the same ingredient in your ice-cream, comes from an orchid? Well, it does. And not just any orchid but a native Belizean orchid.

Orchids are known for their amazing variety, colors, shapes and sizes. There are about 300 different ones in Belize. You can see many weird and wonderful forms of local orchids, right now blooming, at Pine Ridge Lodge.
