If you applied for your study permit BEFORE November 1, 2024, you do NOT need to meet the new field of study requirement for PGWP eligibility. ✅

A lot of students are confused and unnecessarily worried about their program not being on the approved field of study list.

However, this exemption applies to:
• Students who applied for their study permit before Nov 1, 2024
• Students graduating from bachelor’s, master’s or doctorate programs
• Flight school graduates

Language requirements may still apply depending on your situation.
