Dont count yourself out. There are way more people rooting for you than you think! . 😉
TORONTO!
One of my newer mantras is: “you’re alright.” Looking back at the whirlwind of events lately, I can honestly say that’s exactly how it feels.
From celebrating my grandma’s birthday with her and the family 🥹 to reconnecting with so many of you at the summit — so much cool s**t has been happening.
We’ve been having some amazing convos and insightful one-on-ones. Over the past couple of days, I got so many questions answered… it’s wild!
Friends, I even got to catch up with Shantel Noel (). Y’all, we met when I was a university student just starting my career in the music industry, and now she follows my agency’s page… like wahhh!
Huge thank you to for creating such an amazing week for all of us to gather, and s/o to and the rest of the team.
Let’s do it again! 😝

I am no longer rushing to arrive. I’m learning how to stay.
That is the biggest lesson 2025 has taught me. Your girl finally realized that we don’t need to do it all at once, and we don’t need to rush to get there. The way that I’ve grown to be content with the direction of my business and life. I am no longer thirsty for what’s next, but content with the flow of today and the now.
So if this is a reminder of anything, let it be this: make sure your fly is done up, because you never know which lesson God is about to teach you next. 😂✨
In this episode of Behind the Music, we sit down with Chinelo, a multi-talented recording artist whose soulful voice, genre-blending sound, and intentional storytelling are making waves in Toronto and beyond.
Drawn to music from a young age, Chinelo first gained momentum through covers and remixes before releasing a string of singles that showcased her versatility. In November 2024, she dropped her debut EP CodeSwitch — a powerful project that moves seamlessly between R&B, Pop, and Afrobeats, reflecting her mission to create music that’s unorthodox yet grounded, expressive yet purposeful.
We dive into her journey of artistry and faith, exploring how letting go and letting God has shaped her music and her life. Chinelo opens up about the challenges of surrender, the importance of staying outside the box, and what it means to use music as both light and liberation.
If you’re an artist navigating your own path, or simply love hearing how faith, culture, and creativity collide, this conversation is full of wisdom, inspiration, and raw honesty.
