The awkward time between Christmas and New Year’s when you don’t know who you are, where you are or what you should be doing with your time. Anyone else find it so hard to start a new task in these few days? I find myself so lost!

So, here’s another photo from our trip in October. Johnston Canyon is so beautiful!

Today my husband and I got out for a Christmas Day walk. It was so peaceful outside and so cozy to seeing Christmas trees glowing in the front windows of so many houses we passed.

Last month, my husband and I went West to our most favourite place. The trip came at the perfect time, when life was just feeling like too much. When it rains, it pours am I right?!

These are only a few of the hundreds of photos I took. I love the first photo. The fresh bright greens of regrowth and rejuvenation within the dead (yet beautiful) burnt trees after a forest fire in 2003. This trip was a reset, a regrowth, a rejuvenation. And this mountainside depicted this so beautifully. Was so good to be behind the camera again.

If you can, get out and travel Canada. The marvellous creation in our own backyard is breathtaking.
