Banff is waking up. Summer is on its way. 🦌🌿

My favourite wildlife photo so far. Mostly because it's the only one that turned out well 🙈

Two seasons in one day. Only in the Rockies.

Early June, summer heat at the bottom and snow halfway up South Lawson Peak. Never underestimate mountain weather.

However one of the best views over the Lower Lake in Kananaskis.

The hike full of waterfalls 🌊

You can experience it on the Twin Falls Trail.
The trail starts at Takakkaw Falls, one of the highest waterfalls in the Rockies, and leads to the stunning Twin Falls.

If you'd prefer a shorter hike, you can simply turn around at Twin Falls, but we highly recommend to continue above the falls and complete the small loop on the way back. It's well worth the extra effort and lets you see even more of this beautiful area.

⚠️ The bridge above Twin Falls is removed every winter and reinstalled for summer. Before starting the loop, make sure the bridge is in place. You should find the latest information on signs near the falls below.

Our first wedding ever and it happened to be in Canada.

What a magical experience. An outdoor ceremony in the heart of the Canadian Rockies with fresh snow falling all around us… it honestly felt unreal.

I was there with my camera just for fun and to help capture a few moments alongside the main photographer. These are just some extra shots I took during the day, but I still felt they were too beautiful not to share.

Thank you and once again for letting us be part of such a beautiful moment. Having our very first wedding experience here in Canada made it even more special for us and created memories we’ll never forget. You two made our Canadian adventure even more meaningful.
