So proud of our hometown for partnering with our local hospital creating another outreach location for NovelBranch. This is our company's third NovelBranch project with Barrie Public Library and we are particularly grateful for it knowing the difference a book at the right moment for a patient, a visitor or RVH staff member can make.
If you have unexpectedly found yourself in hospital you know the value of a selection of physical books to escape into while waiting for tests to be run, etc. Similarly think of all the visitors who sit bedside, or the children who are waiting to be seen, or shift workers who never get a chance to visit the Library during regular hours. There are so many great reasons for extending library service to the hospital through NovelBranch. We are so pleased the library received the support to do this and that RVH recognized its value in adding to their wellness vision.
