Rodeo Truth aims to expose the realities of rodeo and other animal events at the Calgary Stampede.
Calgary has a new Mayor & Council and we have a new chance to end animal suffering at the Stampede.
Animals continue to face fear, stress, serious injuries and even death in rodeo and chuckwagon events at the Calgary Stampede. This year, a horse named Rider was euthanized after a catastrophic leg injury during a chuckwagon race. Since 1986, at least 110 animals have died. That’s one death every 3.5 days of Stampede competition.
It’s time for change.
