I whipped this painting up as a personal experiment to explore something new/out of my comfort zone when I had Covid and tossed it to the side thinking it was trashhhhh. It only took me a couple hours so I figured it was no good or that it needed way more work. Turns out I actually love her and all the emotions I get when I look at it now

I finally took some time out of my schedule to paint our beloved late beardie for my son, who really struggled with the loss of his first pet. John Rolo (who we later found out was a female after laying unfertilized eggs LOL) was so special to Hayden and I’m so glad I could gift this to him.
