Yesterday, the discussion at .church was about our Sabbath rituals.

We all have a need to press pause for a while and we all have different ways to get what we need from our self-care.

For us, time in the woods, close to water, or near a fire is just what we need to fill our cup.

Today, Karl enjoyed some time by the Elbow River to relax and read a book.

While there, he played around with the camera and captured a few pics that demonstrates the beauty we can find in the small things.

The power of a beaver dam. This area in Fish Creek Park used to have a trail running through it.

Witnessing the engineering these little creatures are capable of is always interesting.

They work many hours, days, and weeks to create their products, and then the landscape is forever changed.

Grateful to witness such an interesting place and to reflect on the process it took to be shifted.
