We are looking for a Journeyman Carpenter or 3rd/ 4th year apprentice to Join our team!

ASA Contracting Ltd. is based out of the Crowsnest pass. We have been working in southern Alberta and British Columbia for 32 years. Along with construction we also do janitorial and maintenance work on commercial and residential properties throughout the Crowsnest and the Elk Valley. We are hiring for a full-time carpenter position. We are looking to hire someone with strong work, quality and safety ethics who:
-Follows all company safety protocols and guidelines
-Is consistent and reliable
-Can work in a team setting and also complete tasks in an efficient manner when working alone.
- Is flexible with job assignments
- Can obtain a clean criminal record Check
-Has Class 5 drivers license
- Can obtain a clean drivers abstract

Work will include:
- Heavy lifting
-traveling to sites out of the Crowsnest pass in Company vehicles
-loading and unloading of material and tools daily
-indoor and outdoor work
-Working with other journeyman carpenters on projects
-Supervising Labourers
-Working to complete Jobs on time
-Complete safety documentation on a daily basis
-Clean up jobsites

Training:
-High School Diploma
-Red seal Journeyman Carpenter Certificate
-OR 3rd year apprentice
- Variety of online orientations will be completed
-First Aid
-Fall protection, Aerial lift training provided

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Coleman, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:

carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
