In this latest Tinker Thoughts Blog, we take the PTSolns LoRa SX1276 915MHz Shield out of the lab and into the real world to see what it can actually do. The result? A rock solid connection at over 6.15 km with simple hardware and no complex setup.
LoRa is known for long range, low power communication, and this test shows just how powerful it can be even in practical conditions.
Inside the blog:
Real field test setup and conditions
Hardware used and configuration
Measured range and performance insights
Why this matters for IoT, remote sensing, and low power networks
If you are working with IoT, RF, or long range wireless, this is a must read.
