Some good news for international students today:

The Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship announced a temporary lift on off-campus work limits for international students in Canada.

Starting on November 15, 2022 until December 31st, 2023 international students who ate in Canada and have off-campus work authorization will be allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

The measure will address labour shortages and give international students better access to gaining work experience in Canada.

We will also have more details on a pilot project to expedite and automate study permit extensions in Canada, so stay tuned as that should come later this month.

In an effort to improve and modernize services, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) is transitioning to 100% online applications for most permanent immigration programs.
As of September 23 and following the posted schedule, applications for various programs will only accept submissions via the Permanent Residence Portal.
Be sure to submit your application as required, and should you need additional assistance we’ll be happy to work with you.
