Canada has lost 15 million acres of farmland since the 70s. The population has increased by 20 million since the 70s. We grew out instead of up. Global population by billions. Whats the plan here? No airplane or warehouse or factory will matter when we are all starving to death. Time to vote for politicians who care about your basic human rights instead of bowing down to capitalism. Food access should be a human right. And farmland protection should be #1 priority right now.

These cows will be living under the richest woman in Canada’s planes taking off and landing in the field beside for the rest of their lives. Runway directly to the left. Which will likely one day swallow our family farm too. Against our will.

Honey + Pancakes. This little girl is a special one. Might be hard to part with this fall. She has such a beautiful face and mama Honey is one of my fav cows, even though she’s unregistered. She’s the cow that’s always in the flower crowns. One of my first highlands I purchased. And this baby girl is sooooooo cute!!!!!!

I have a highland longhorn cross still due but my highland calving season is now over! 5/6 was girls! pure luck!
