We were so blessed to receive a phone call No Frills on St. Clair, who generously donated three banana boxes full of bananas to FreeHelpCK! πŸŒπŸ’›πŸ˜‹

These fresh bananas will be a wonderful treat for the seniors in our Senior Hope Meals program this week and will also help stock our FreeHelpCK Free Food Pantries for community members experiencing food insecurity.

It is truly amazing to see local businesses helping support local families and seniors. Thank you, Chad and Megan, for your kindness and generosity. Your support is making a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.

πŸ’œWhat 3 Months of Collecting Pop & Beer Cans and Bottles Can Do! πŸ’œ

Many people see empty cans and bottles. We see hope.

Thanks to the incredible dedication of our volunteers and everyone who saves their refundable containers for FreeHelpCK, three months of collecting has raised $792.00 to support our programs.

Here’s what that $792.00 can provide:

πŸ₯˜ Senior Hope Meals – Fresh, homemade meals delivered on Monday and Thursday for one day of meals

πŸŽ’ 20 Operation Backpacks – Filled with school supplies to help children start the school year ready to learn.

🐾 Pet Pantry – Food and essential supplies for 40 pets, helping families keep their beloved companions.

πŸŽ‚ 35 Birthday Boxes – Bringing smiles and celebration to children and families who may otherwise go without.

πŸ₯« One Complete Community Pantry Fill – Restocking one of our free food pantries for those experiencing food insecurity.

❀️ A heartfelt thank you to every volunteer who collected, sorted, loaded, and returned these cans and bottles, and to everyone who donated them.

Your kindness proves that something as simple as an empty can or bottle can become a meal, a backpack, a birthday celebration, food for a pet, or a pantry filled with hope.
