Last night, my partner asked me what my favourite part of a session is. I stumbled around a few answers and was confused that I didn’t have something concrete. Then I saw this client’s post this morning (⬅️ scroll to see)…THIS IS IT!

Through my 11 years in the industry, I’ve done a lot of giveaways and donated sessions. Phoebe was right in Friends…there is no act that’s entirely selfless. Hearing a client’s journey in choosing to be captured, in being witnessed during the session, then in seeing themselves from my lens when they open their gallery…knowing from my own personal journey that I could be witnessing them forgiving their wounds and falling (more) in love with every inch of themselves in front of the lens…THIS is the biggest payday of all!
