Their Elk Island session didn’t feel like a photoshoot at first—it felt like a slow evening where everything lined up at the right time. The sun was dropping behind the trees, that soft golden light hitting just right.

When the last bit of sun touched the lake, they got quiet for a moment. No direction, no posing—just them standing there, taking it in together. And that’s when they looked the most like themselves.

Shooting in Old Québec always feels like stepping into a storybook, but this time… it felt even more special.

We started in Quartier Petit-Champlain, the cobblestone streets somehow made every small gesture—every smile—look poetic. On Rue du Petit-Champlain, tourists slowed down just to admire them, which made them laugh and lean closer, almost shy but beautifully themselves.

By the time we reached Place Royale, the scene shifted into something almost cinematic. The backdrop of Notre-Dame-des-Victoires gave the photos a quiet, historic weight—like their love was becoming part of the city’s memories too.

Then came Umbrella Alley, where the mood turned playful. They twirled, teased each other, and kept looking up at the colors above them like kids seeing something magical for the first time. It didn’t feel posed; it felt like joy.

And the ice cream stop?
That was the unscripted moment that stole the film—one cone, shared laughter, the kind of intimacy you can’t pose.

Old Québec didn’t just set the backdrop.
