With ABmunis’ consistent municipal advocacy, the province is taking action on infrastructure funding.

The Honourable Dan Williams, Minister of Municipal Affairs, announced that he is launching a council to explore policy options to expand fiscal tools to fund municipal infrastructure. ABmunis has consistently highlighted the growing pressure on municipal property taxes, and we anticipate that this council is going to be a positive step toward identifying additional solutions to fund the replacement and expansion of local infrastructure.
