Next summer, AlbertaSat is launching its newest satellite, Ex-Alta 3, and we want to bring you along for the ride. With at least a $100 donation, you can etch your name onto a silicon chip that will be launched into space aboard our CubeSat.

So, how does your name make it to orbit? Eligible donor names will be carefully etched onto a silicon chip at the University of Alberta’s nanoFAB facility, and the chip will be attached to the satellite before launch. Once in space, Ex-Alta 3 will orbit Earth, and contribute to crucial climate change research on snow, ice, and wildfire impact in Canada, through its multispectral imager Iris.

đź’« $100 = 1 name. $200 = 3 names.

Help us fund this mission and inspire the next generation of space scientists.
