This Friday is Halloweโen, and it is officially the Most Halloweโen-est Shirt/Sweater/Outfit Day on both campuses. We hope you have your scariest, boo-iest, or most outrageously creative Halloweโen attire ready to go. Whether it is a festive sweater, spooky shirt, themed pants or jacket, or a full-on costume, we want to see it.

Pink Shirt Day is more than just wearing pinkโitโs a movement for kindness, inclusion, and respect. ๐ This annual event began in Canada in 2007 when two students encouraged their peers to wear pink in support of a fellow student who was bullied. Today, we continue their legacy by standing together against bullying!

Today, ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐๐๐ก ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ญhad the privilege of visiting ๐๐ค๐ข๐๐ง๐ค ๐๐ค๐ช๐จ๐, a vital food bank and soup kitchen in Saint John, NB, that provides hot meals, groceries, and essential support to those in need.
As part of our commitment to giving back, we donated $๐๐๐.๐๐ in ๐ป๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐
๐ to help brighten the day of those who rely on Romero Houseโs services. A warm cup of coffee or a hot meal can make a world of difference, and we are proud to support such an incredible organization that works tirelessly to fight food insecurity in our community.

As 2024 draws to a close, the PTSU Executive Board extends our heartfelt thanks for your support throughout the year. Looking ahead to 2025, we encourage you to be even more visible, engaged, and motivated in your support. Next year brings us closer to the end of our current 2022-2026 Collective Agreement (June 30, 2026). Remember: a union is only as strong and effective as its Members who actively support and participate in its operations and activities. Be informed and be active in your union!
