I'm not one for non-fiction reading but I really love memoirs. There's just something about hearing a person's life story and how they became who they are. Here are three memoirs by some kick ass black women for ya'll.
1) Becoming by Michelle Obama
2) Mighty Be Our Powers by Leymah Gbowee
3) The Misadventures of an Awkward Black Girl by Issa Rae
