Seasonal changes affect the body more than we realize.

Shorter days, less sunlight, and disrupted circadian rhythms can leave us feeling heavy, tired, or disconnected.

Here are simple practices, *rooted in science and supported by tradition* that can help ease Seasonal Affective Disorder symptoms:

Morning light exposure: Even 5–10 minutes of natural light helps reset your circadian rhythm and improve mood.

Gentle movement: Yoga, walking, or stretching increases serotonin and reduces stress hormones.

Warm, grounding meals: Traditional cultures lean into soups, teas, and warm foods for a reason—they support digestion and stabilize energy.

Nature connection: Touching plants or stepping outside for a short sensory break calms the nervous system.

Social connection: Human contact boosts oxytocin, which naturally supports emotional regulation.

You don’t need a full routine—just small moments of support throughout your day.
Your body responds to consistency, not perfection.
