We do so many re-sods that we can’t post them all, but here’s another one from this morning. Our client had a grub issue in the front yard, so we removed the damaged grass and installed fresh sod.

A quick note about grubs: they feed on grass roots, which can kill your lawn. The best time to treat for grubs is late summer into early fall, when they are young and easier to control with products like Grub B Gon. Aeration is also recommended because it helps the treatment reach deeper into the soil.

Grubs are one of the biggest reasons we do re-sods. Not only do they damage the roots, but animals will also dig up your lawn trying to eat them, leaving holes behind where w**ds can eventually grow.

1500sqft resod today in the rain and mud, but we get it done on time. This client had a very bumpy and lumpy backyard, and was hard to mow the lawn, so we removed all the old sod, installed 4 yards of fresh soil raked to grade, fixed all the bumps, packed it to precent settlement, then installed fresh Kentucky bluegrass sod rolls.
