What’s in your old notebooks?
It’s fun to stumble upon yourself that maybe you forgot. I think I forget about lots of parts of myself on the regs. I have many interests and things that bring me joy.

It filled me up today to see myself reflected back in doodles I made over 13 years ago. Made me like myself more. A lifetime is filled with so many moments we can’t possibly remember them all and memory is a fickle thing.

Thanks past me for making physical art that down the road has now boosted me up and reminded me who I am.

Mums wisdom. I’ve been missing her and Bodie so much this past week or so. Grief can be such a beast of a teacher. Sometimes it comes with deeper understanding and sometimes it simply comes with forever flowing inexplainable tears. I’ve become more accustomed to letting it move, but damn.

This time of year has me hankering for the Suns magic. This morning on my bus ride I looked for everywhere the sun touched with its morning embrace. Here’s your reminder to slow down and bask in the beauty of this world. Whenever you can, choose to pay attention to the little things that make life worth living…the things that fill you up with sensations of connection and belonging.

I love you Sun and am so grateful for your presence.
