Common mistake: "Can you wait me a minute?"
Correct options:
Can you give me a minute?
Can you wait a minute?
Give me a minute.
Wait a minute.
One moment, please.
Casual: Gimme a sec. (Full: Give me a second.)
"Wait" can't be followed by "me," "him," "her," etc. You CAN say "Wait for me," but it doesn't work in the contexts above. It's possible to say "Can you wait for me a minute?" but this isn't common.

Casual goodbyes 😎👇
Have a good one. ✌️
Take it easy. 🧘
See you around. 👀
See ya when I see ya. 👋
I only post here once or twice a day. Do you notice if I don't post for a day or two, or do you not really think about it? It's okay if you don't think about it. 😅
Do you need C1 fluency in another language? Not really. Most people don't. It's good to have a goal, but most language learners should be VERY satisfied with achieving B2 fluency. At B2, you can have natural conversations about most topics and understand the vast majority of everyday interactions. 👍
