New Years is fast upon us and with 2020 just behind us who wouldn’t be planning every possible thing they want to change ever? Put on some quarantine weight? Haven’t connected with your friends much? Drank too much? Kind of poor? Hey man, you’re definitely alone... but let’s take a look at resolutions.

Have you ever considered how much pressure you put on yourself by saying, when I wake up tomorrow I’m going to change everything about my life?! And are you making the same resolutions every year with no success?

Three years ago I tried something new. Instead of making a list of things I wanted to change and starting my year off on a negative, superficial note, I chose to make a list of good things that happened in the previous year. Things I accomplished, the little wins. There is nothing too small to make this list.

2020 may be a difficult year to see the good but it’s there. Make your only resolution finding gratitude it what you have been through and build on that!!

And IF YOU MUST, make “resolutions”, check how you speak to yourself. Don’t say “lose weight”, say “eat more vegetables”’ “get more sleep” or “walk more” or how about the best one “love myself the way I am”

Check how many things you’re trying to change. You do know January 1st is just another day right?

Tell us some 2020 wins!! What are you grateful for this past year?
