In case you missed this one — or just want a reason to slow down for a few minutes ❄️🥾

This section from Mount Nemo to Crawford Lake turned out to be one of those unexpectedly memorable winter hikes. It starts off simple… and then the trail really comes to life.

Here’s what you’ll see in this stretch:

✔️ Snow-covered forest hiking through Cave Springs
✔️ Peaceful Niagara Escarpment views in winter
✔️ A full 16 KM trail with steady, enjoyable terrain
✔️ That classic mid-February “crunchy snow” experience

It’s a great example of how some of the most unassuming trail starts can lead to the best moments 🌲
