There should never be any pressure or deadlines to sign a contract. If at all possible find a contractor that doesn’t require a deposit. This tells you they are financially stable and will be around to honor their warranties. Insist that your installer follow the best construction practices both electrically and structurally. The building envelope of your home is so important and cannot be compromised… unlike this install we recently discovered.
