This weekend is Platzl light up! Along with this very special event in our little Platzl are a number of fun events and opportunities to being enjoying the magic of the season, and also to shop and support local!

I’ll be at Centre 64, just across Howard Street from the Platzl, on Saturday from 1-7 as a vendor at the Holly Jolly Market along with other lovely folks! Come visit and enjoy live music and treats too!

Summertime!! I hope you are soaking in some of the absolute wonderful that summer is, wherever you may be!
I will be at the Invermere Farmers Market on Saturday August 2nd, and hopefully Fernie on Sunday August 3rd! I’m also planning for one Saturday in Cranbrook, and will share when confirmed!
Wishing you all time doing something you love, maybe with those you love, restoring, recharging, looking at the stars, and just being you!
Also have you heard of plastic free July? It’s a growing movement through which we can reflect on our plastic use, and say - I can do without this! This is something that I want to change! And I am going to share this with a friend, a spouse, show my kids, and feel good about my actions! xo

Zipper bags! They are lined and have a box bottom so they’ll stand up. They are a mix of new cute fabric I couldn’t resist, denim recovered from jeans, and new fabrics sourced from our local thrift stores!

Reusing what you have - plastic bags can be reused, although it’s not recommended after they’ve been used for meat. If you can’t avoid buying items without plastic, or choose not to, you can always extend the bag’s life before recycling or disposing of it!
