Educator burnout affects everyone.
I made it 21 years in Public Education.
And while I often post about the benefits of leaving the school system, the past three years of client consults with BOTH moms and educators has illuminated a bigger issue. 🔦 So many women see the inadequacies of school but feel stuck in it.
I knew there had to be a better solution.
Coaching moms and educators in alternative education isn’t effective for lasting change when women already feel like they have too much on their plate.
In fact, the majority of high functioning women I’ve talked to at length are still either: 1. teaching in the school system, or 2. Have kids in the school system.
So I made a shift. The overwhelming issue for both moms and teachers in 2025 is nervous system dysregulation.
At I offer an invitation for you to pause the chaos, breathe again, and come home to yourself.
You don’t need another wellness tip or self care list. You need tools that help you in the moments of meltdowns, overstimulation, and chaos before you spend the first week of summer trying to reset.
Join me for tips, tools and support for those who have been running on survival patterns for too long. It’s time to come home to yourself. 💗💫

June often brings more overwhelm and chaos - both at school and at home.
🏖️There are often so many things we pack into our calendars before summer officially begins.
If your child is still in school, there are field trips, special dress up days, track and field, sports events, graduations, potlucks, awards ceremonies and school meetings. 🎓🧁🏅
Even for families who homeschool, there’s usually a LOT more on the go once summer sports begin and the school year may be wrapping up.
Your child picks up on the energy. That’s why their behavior is off - they sense the overwhelm and chaos.
⚠️School doesn’t teach us how to regulate our nervous system. Especially back when we went to school - most of us grew up in a time where we never heard of brain science or anxiety.
There ARE things you can do to both regulate yourself and your child through times of inconsistency.
💗1. Take time for connection.
The more presence you have in each moment with your child, the more this helps both of you stay grounded.
2. Get plenty of sunshine! ☀️
Even in times where we are pulled in all directions, taking time to get sunshine is essential for long term health. If you and your child are on tech devices all day and night, this will show in their behavior.
🗓️3. Model saying NO.
It’s a one word sentence. I had to learn to model this to my own kids. We cannot possibly do everything we are asked to do. Practice the art of prioritizing this month.
4. Practice balance ⚖️.
If you have a lot on the go, make time for your child too. Packing too much in causes outbursts which are far more difficult to recover from.
🧠5. Learn how to regulate your own nervous system first.
You are your child’s CALM. If you feel rage coming up, or annoyance of “why can’t my kids just LISTEN”, I have specific tools for moms who are overwhelmed and at their breaking point
The most important thing to remember is the WHY in what you are doing in June. If your schedule is already full, take a moment to reevaluate what you can cut down on. ✂️
You aren’t alone. 🙏🏻 June is always a month that can throw even the most organized, peaceful parent off. ❤️
