What a Ride: Our Sunfest 2026 Recap & Thank You ☀️
Four days. Countless beautiful moments. And a community we are incredibly proud of.
Now that Victoria Park is quiet, we are taking some time to look back on Sunfest 2026.
We have to address the elephant in the park: things did not end the way any of us wanted. The chaotic events on Sunday night, sparked by a small group of individuals, were incredibly disappointing. It was a jarring, scary end to an otherwise beautiful weekend, and that kind of behavior has no place in the community we've built together.
But we refuse to let the reckless actions of a few define the magic that thousands of you created over the last four days.

The real story of Sunfest 2026 isn't how it ended; it’s how the community showed up from Thursday morning right through Sunday afternoon.
Science has never looked so good. 🧪✨
Did you know that air plants are covered in tiny, microscopic scales called trichomes? When the plant is dry, these cells stand up and reflect light, giving them that signature dusty, silver look.
But the second they soak, those cells act like tiny sponges. They flatten out, absorb the water, and become completely transparent, instantly showing off the vibrant green and red tones underneath!
Watching this transformation never, ever gets old. 💚💧
