Kate Cleaning 22 – Cleaning Service Policy

1. Types of Cleaning Services

Regular Cleaning

Regular cleaning is ongoing maintenance cleaning and is best for homes cleaned consistently.
• Customers may choose per-room pricing or hourly pricing.
• Not all deep-cleaning tasks are completed in one visit.
• Cleaning is done step by step or room by room over time.
• Deep-cleaning tasks rotate during regular visits, depending on time and payment.
• Cleaning time is reasonable and based on the chosen service and payment.
• To qualify as regular cleaning, visits must be less than 8 weeks apart.
• If the gap is more than 8 weeks, the service will be considered deep cleaning.

Deep Cleaning

Deep cleaning is a detailed, full-space service done all at once.
• All areas are cleaned during the same visit.
• Charged hourly.
• Time required depends on the condition of the space.
• First-time cleanings may be charged as deep cleaning, even if regular cleaning is requested.
• Deep cleaning applies to:
Move-in / move-out cleaning
One-time cleaning
Commercial or non-regular spaces
Homes not cleaned regularly

2. First-Time Cleaning

• The first visit may require extra time.
• Pricing may be hourly, depending on the condition of the space.
After the first visit, regular cleaning options can be discussed.

3. Cancellation & Schedule Changes

• No charge for cancellations.
• Customers may change the cleaning day, shorten the visit, or adjust time as needed.
• We aim to be as flexible as possible.

4. Cleaning Time

• There is no minimum or maximum required time.
• Cleaning duration is based on customer priorities and requests.
• Focus is on essential tasks requested by the customer.

5. Access to the Property

• Customers are responsible for providing safe access to the property at the scheduled time (key, code, or being present).

6. Safety & Belongings

• Kate Cleaning 22 is not responsible for pre-existing damage or unsecured fragile items.
• Please inform us in advance if any items require special care.

7. Cleaning Supplies

• We use eco-friendly cleaning supplies, mainly baking soda and vinegar, whenever suitable.
• Customers may request the use of their own products if preferred.

8. Pets

• Pets must be secured or safe during cleaning.
• Please inform us in advance if pets are present in the home.

9. Satisfaction & Service Fit

• Customer satisfaction is important to us.
• If there is an issue with the cleaning, please contact us as soon as possible.• When possible, we may:
o Fix the cleaning at no extra charge,
o Offer a discount, depending on the situation.
• If ongoing issues occur and our service does not meet customer needs, the cleaning agreement may be cancelled, as it may not be the right fit.

11. Pricing

Hourly Cleaning Rates
• $40 per hour – Local (Maple Ridge)
• $45 per hour – Outside Maple Ridge

Rates are charged per cleaning staff member.

REGULAR CLEANING (Per Room Pricing)

• Kitchen — $25
• Bathroom — $25
• Living Room — $25
Half Bathroom — $10
• Bedroom — $10
• Extra Room / Space/Request — $10

All prices are before 5% GST

We're a small, independent business (INSURED AND BONDED) , so we keep things straightforward and friendly. Our approach is all about fitting into your life seamlessly. We are here to adjust to what works best for you. At Kate Cleaning22, we take deep cleaning seriously. When you sign up for our recurring service, we go step by step: tackling the refrigerator, oven, deep organizing, and reaching behind or under furniture—all included in one straightforward price.

Speaking of pricing, we don't charge by the hour. We understand that every cleaning job is unique. Some tasks may take longer than others, and that's okay! Our focus is on delivering exceptional results, not watching the clock. And when it comes to scheduling, we're as flexible as can be. Let me introduce myself

I'm Kate Kozinska, originally from Poland but proud to call Canada home since 2016. My journey here has been filled with diverse experiences—I've worked hard at Merry Maids, first as a cleaner and eventually took on supervisory roles. However, my experience in cleaning goes beyond my time at Merry Maids.

Working in childcare, particularly in before and after school programs was also part of my experience in Canada, which I find incredibly rewarding. I’m still involved, partly in this program.

Being a local Maple Ridge mom is a big part of who I am, but there's more to me than just that. Last year, I also took a big leap and opened my own cleaning company. It's been an exciting venture, allowing me to apply my passion for cleaning in new ways and serve the community in a more personal manner.

I'm known for my friendly personality. I always try to approach each day with a smile and a positive attitude. I thrive on being active and enjoy every moment I get to spend with my family—they mean the world to me.

I'm a hardworking person who loves taking on new challenges. Whether it's tackling multiple tasks at once or diving into projects independently, I'm always up for it. My friends often describe me as organized, trustworthy, and someone with a real passion for cleaning. It's not just a job for me; it's something I genuinely enjoy.
