It’s been about a month since our first season as a team wrapped up. After some well-earned rest, we wanted to share a quick update.

Before anything else—thank you. To everyone who came out to watch, followed along online, sent messages, or supported us in any way this year—we truly appreciate it.

We set a number of goals at the start of the season, both as a team and individually, and put in a lot of work through clinics, practices, cash spiels, jamborees, provincials, and skills competitions. We’re proud of the progress we made and the results we achieved along the way.

The best part? We’re not done yet. We’re excited to be running it back for the 2026–27 season and continuing this journey together.
We hope you’ll follow along again next season!

Cela fait environ un mois que notre première saison en tant qu’équipe s’est terminée. Après une petite pause bien méritée, nous voulions vous donner de nos nouvelles.

Avant tout — merci! À tous ceux qui sont venus nous encourager, qui nous ont suivis en ligne, qui nous ont envoyé des messages ou qui nous ont soutenus de quelque façon que ce soit cette année — nous vous en sommes très reconnaissants.

Nous nous étions fixé plusieurs objectifs au début de la saison, autant comme équipe qu’individuellement, et nous avons travaillé fort à travers des cliniques, des pratiques, des tournois, des jamborees, des provinciaux et des compétitions d’habiletés. Nous sommes très fiers des progrès réalisés et du chemin parcouru.

Et ce n’est pas fini! Nous sommes très enthousiastes de vous annoncer que nous continuons à jouer ensemble pour la saison 2026–2027 et avons hâte de poursuivre cette aventure.

We'd like to provide our 2026 Little Rocks Spring Jamboree update. It was 3 days, 7 teams in the U9 division, and 28 teams challenging the U12 division.

Our journey started Friday evening with a game Team Burns which we were able to win.

Saturday after opening ceremonies, we had 2 more matchups. First, we played Team Russell, and then followed that with a matchup against our clubmates, Team Allen. We managed wins in both of these games, which sent us into the Semifinals.

Sunday morning, we matched up against a very strong Team Patel. It was such a close matchup, the lowest scoring game in the tournament that could have gone either way. We managed to squeak out a 2-1 victory, and booked our ticket to the finals. In the finals, we had another really tough matchup against Team Hanson. We managed to win our final game, which gave us the U12 Provincial Championship.

All of our opponents were great to play against, and we hope that all the other teams at the Jamboree had a fun experience. We saw a lot of great curling happening at the host TSA club.

We'd like to send a congratulations to our Clubmates, Team Comeau, who took home the U9 title while going undefeated through the whole weekend.

This weekend we're off to the 2026 Little Rocks Spring Jamboree where the team will be competing against a lot of other great teams for the U12 Provincial title. This is the final weekend long tournament of the year for us, wish us luck!

Scores & Results - New Brunswick Curling Association

Update on our Atlantic Rockfest experience.

Friday the girls had a full day of skills and development, along with a meet and greet. Experts were brought in from around Atlantic Canada, and we appreciate them taking the time to share their knowledge with the youth of the region.

Saturday brought some maritime weather resulting in some power outages during their Rockfest practice and qualification sessions. All the players in Cornwall stayed positive and performed well. The team at the Cornwall PEI Curling were great with keeping everything rolling, and everybody safe. The girls performed well, but all finished just shy of qualifying for the Rockfest finals. From there, we were off to Crapaud Curling Club for some triples games. The girls were all on separate teams, and each team they were on, won their games.

Sunday was the Golden Rockfest where members of Team White took on the members of Team Red in a series of 2-end triples games, with overall total score determining which team was stronger. Again, all members of our Team won their short matchups, but Team Red took the overall victory by a slim margin.

Post Canada Winter Games Qualifier update.

It's been several days since our time at the NB Canada Winter Games Qualifying event in Miramichi came to an end.

The Team went into the event with some moderate goals, and wanting to gain some valuable experience for our future. In this respect, it was a great weekend. We played three games, against Team Brown, Team Colwell and Team Etheridge. We ended up defeated in each contest, but all opponents were great to play against, and we took some lessons from each matchup.

We want to send out a very special thank you to our spare who played for us this weekend in place of an injured player. She was supportive, and played well when called upon. We're happy to have made a friend.

Congrats to Team Hughes who won the boys division, and Team Colwell who won the girls division.

Thanks to our hosts in Miramichi, the organizing committee, staff, judges and all the volunteers.

The Team has 2 final events to finish the season. Next up is the U15 Atlantic Rockfest skills and development being held this coming weekend in PEI. We look forward to seeing fellow players from NB, and others from PEI, NS and Nfld. Good curling to you all.

March 13-16 is a big weekend for Team Phillips as we will be participating in the 2027 Canada Winter Games Girls & Boys Selection Spiel in Miramichi. This tournament will be our biggest challenge yet as we look forward to a great experience and a lot of fun, matching up against many of the top girls teams across the province. We would like to wish good luck to all of our competitors in the Girls division, and best of luck to the participants in the Boys division too.

To all our fans, watch for live streams on this page. This is a triple elimination bracket style tournament, so we are unsure of our exact schedule other than game one at 2:30 Friday.

The Kenny Coates update.
Team Phillips/Robichaud had a weekend to be extremely proud of. After going 4-0 in the round robin portion, we finished as runner up in the U15 Girls division. We are happy for fellow Curl Moncton Team Demont Curling on their victory in the championship game. While we're disappointed to lose that game, we're very proud to have competed at a high level, made it to the finals and taken the game down to the final shot. We can't wait for next year when we'll be back for a bunch more fun, and another go at the title.

All of our opponents throughout the weekend were gracious, and we hope they all had as much fun as we had. We look forward to meeting again in future matchups. There were many teams we didn't match up against this time around, we look forward to future matchups with them too.

We'd like to thank the organizers and volunteers at TSA for hosting such a fun event for all the U15 teams across each division. Three divisions including 8 boys teams, 12 mixed teams and 11 girls teams is a lot of work.

After this morning's game, Team Phillips/Robichaud went 4-0 in the round robin, and have reached the finals.

As keen observers may have noticed with our streams, Team Phillips/Robichaud have been participating in the 28th Kenny Coates U15 Provincial tournament this weekend.
A quick update. We have played 3 games so far, and have managed to pull out a win in all 3 games. Our opponents have all been gracious, and fun to play against. We wish them the best with the remainder of their tournaments.
We have one final round robin game remaining early on Sunday, and we're looking to end on a high note. Wish us, and the other teams, luck as we finish off another great tournament. We'll try to stream the game starting around 8am
