For the past month I’ve been working on illustrating a book about the fear of flying and how anxiety plays an important role.

Creating art about anxiety when you have anxiety is a journey. Through this process, I’ve learned to translate emotions that are often intangible—like fear, restlessness, or the weight of overthinking—into visuals. I’ve discovered how powerful art can be in capturing what words sometimes can’t.

As a child growing up in South America, I never had the experience of going trick or threating. Now I got to imagine myself returning home with my candy bag, picture 2 is a more accurate situation of how I live halloween now
