Frédéric Alarie is one of Canada’s most talented double bassists. He is pictured here with Scott LaFaro’s restored original double bass, which he used to record In the Spirit of Legends, featuring compositions by Chet Baker and Scott LaFaro.
He has recorded several albums under the Fidelio Music label, with mastering by René Laflamme at 2xHD.
Frédéric uses a Modulum vibration audio control platform beneath his double bass, which enhances the definition and projection of the sound.
