Reconnect

Hey friends! Sharing some thoughts this morning about contributing in a wild and scary world...

I’m doing this NVC workshop next month in Nanaimo again (it’s been a while) for anyone who might be interested in having more tools for navigating tensions and conflict. So grateful for all the friends and community who have done this work with me already.

I usually do very little promotion on social media because my workshops are now selling out without doing it (feeling proud of it). And I really don’t enjoy posting on social media to be honest... But I tend to attract lots of people from out of town in my training. And I do want people who need it the most in our community to be able to hear about it and participate, because this is my community and making changes locally is what I feel most passionate about.

PS:
So hard to put myself on camera. Anyone else struggling so hard to do that? I’m a very confident speaker, but online it’s a different thing. There is this critical voice that is louder than usual when I post online (you don’t look good, not very interesting what you’re saying... are you trying to sell yourself? People won’t be interested in that...etc) . But It’s a new year, so I’m trying new things and I will have a conversation with my critical part right after (it probably wants to be loved and appreciated and very scared of criticism shame….
