After my last experience with .ca I just had to get back there for a second visit. This image here - looks pretty perfect, right? Absolutely. I could show you an album of beautiful pictures from this wedding. The day was perfection. But behind the scenes? This wedding was supposed to be in an entirely different venue 12 hours prior to set up. But things changed. Mother Nature left us to find a new space, the night before the wedding.

Was it challenging? Yes! Was it nerve wracking? Yes! But you know what it wasn’t? Impossible. It’s not impossible when you have the best team in the biz as your vendors for the date. Who all take it in stride, make the changes and get to work making it just as good - in my opinion, better - than it was originally supposed to be!

My biggest advice. Hire a planner. Hire a damn good team of vendors who can change direction in a second, without missing a beat. And then? Trust them.

I can’t thank J+J enough for their trust in me, and all those involved, and for having more grace than I could have imagined.
